Reindeer Behavior

The reindeer is a sociable animal living in large herds. It is an herbivorous animal, who spends most of the day eating. Reindeer eat grass, lichens and plants. Their main predators are wolves, wolverines, coyote and bears. Some reindeer migrate (especially the ones in Alaska and Canada), while many reindeer populations are sedentary (northern Europe and Asia).
