Originally built in 1939, it is still raised multiple times a day in order to allow ships into the port. This makes an excellent walk with a scenic view.
On the north-western part of the island, cradled within the basin of the Saint Christoffel Mountain, lies a nature reserve that protects a good majority of flora and fauna that are native to the island. This area features many cave systems that have preserved Arawak Indian paintings on the walls. There are also a few hiking trails and scenic viewing ares to behold.
These are just a few things that the islands in this area offer, after all there are probably too many museums, aquariums and churches to name here. The “ABC” islands offer plenty to do for anyone looking at PROPERTIES FOR RENT IN CURACAO.
